I was a patient for only one night. I was comfortable and well looked after the whole time. My only minor issue was that I felt I waited a long time for the physio to come on the morning after the operation when I particularly wanted to be able to get up and use the facilities. The menu and food was excellent and I enjoyed using the TV in the room. My wife who visited me and was with me right up until I went into theatre was always treated with courtesy and respect. Have recently had a shoulder op and can honestly say it was the best hospital experience I have had. I was very well cared for during my op and overnight stay.

Although this time I didn't have my own room I still felt well cared for. The staff are lovely and the lady doing the meals was so cheerful and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff.

I cannot speak too highly about this hospital from its efficient and friendly staff at all levels to its smooth procedural systems as you move through the different departments from reception to wards, to theatre to recovery and so on. My experience of Goring Hall was extremely good. Everyone and everything about it were delightful. The staff were charming and made me feel like a person, the building light, airy and spotless. I would recommend it to anyone. I also felt their pricing was very fair.
